The Chicago Department of Public Health and the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) School of Public Health are hosting “Racial Disparities in the US HIV Epidemic” Thursday, April 29, 1-2:45 p.m., at the UIC School of Public Health, 1603 W. Taylor, Room 932.
Rush University’s Dr. Kimberly Smith, an HIV expert who has spoken at numerous events, will speak on the HIV/AIDS-infection rates among minorities as well as the health care they receive.
