—Honor for Audi: The Point Foundation—the country’s largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBT students of merit—will honor Audi with its Point Inspiration Award at a Sept. 25 gala at at Raleigh Studios Hollywood, according to Gaywheels.com. In a press release, Audi of America, Inc., CEO Jeffrey S. Kuhlman said, “Audi has been privileged to work with the Point Foundation throughout the years and is honored to be this year’s recipient of the Inspiration Award. We believe that diversity is a key driver of innovation, and we applaud the Point Foundation for developing future leaders through their generous scholarship program. The leaders of our two organizations are proud to share the understanding that support and inclusion are necessary ingredients for success.” Actors Alan Cumming and Brittany Snow will also be honored.

The Cayenne was an instant success, reaching 100,000 in sales faster than any Porsche model ever. For 2011, the all-new Cayenne is available as Cayenne (V6 /300 hp), Cayenne S (V8/400 hp), Cayenne Turbo (V8/500 hp) and Cayenne Hybrid (V6/380 hp). The vehicle will be available at Porsche dealerships starting in October.
