AIDS United has hired grassroots organizer and HIV/AIDS policy advocate Jessica Terlikowski, according to a press release. Terlikowski has assumed her role of director of regional organizing.

Terlikowski comes to AIDS United from AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC), where she launched, nurtured and oversaw local and regional coalitions that advocate for harm reduction programs and policies, among other responsibilities.

Terlikowski joins former AFC President/CEO Mark Ishaug, who now heads AIDS United.

In addition, Terlikowski is co-founder and chair of the Chicago Female Condom Campaign, a partnership that advocates for increasing access, affordability, availability, awareness and utilization of female condoms.
