The Civil Rights Agenda will hold its first in a series of “Civilized Celebrations”—honoring those who were joined in civil unions at the organization’s June 3 ceremony—Wed., Aug. 31, 5:30-9 p.m. at The Joynt, 650 N. Dearborn.
The couples Jayson Bernard & Roberto Rosario and Erica & Vanessa Feliciano will be featured. A short program will take place at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets (“Roommates” level) are $50 each; there are also “domestic partnership” ($250 host), “civil union” ($500 sponsor) and “marriage” ($1,000 chair) levels.
