Image Entertainment is out with Bette Midler’s return to Las Vegas in Bette Midler: The Showgirl Must Go On, available on Blu-ray and DVD.
Taped before thousands in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the 67-minute show features many of Midler’s colorful and classic stage and screen characters. Joining her on the gargantuan stage are performers including the Harlettes; 20 dancers she calls The Caesar Salad Girls; and a 13-piece band.
Among the songs she performs are “The Rose,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “From a Distance,” “Hello in There” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.”
The DVD is $19.98; it’s $24.98 on Blu-ray.
