The Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted, is displaying “Voices of My Choices”—the works of HIV-positive artist Jim Carey—in its second-floor exhibit. In this exhibit, Carey says, “I have captured my experience as a person living with HIV. From my diagnosis to starting medication, stages of grief and hopes and fears, these paintings exemplify what I call ‘making a positive a positive.'” The show runs through Tuesday, Jan. 3.
