NEQUA Studios is set to launch its much-awaited feature film, Promise Land, directed by Kevin Dalvi. The film stars a diverse cast, which includes Anita Chandwaney, Brenda Barrie, Elizabeth Abraham, Fawzia Mirza, Kamal Joseph Hans, Leena Kurishingal, Mouzam Makkar, Nikhil Bafna, Rahsaan Islam and Tim McCarthy. The screenplay is written by Kevin Dalvi, Etta Worthington and Faris Khan, and has a run time of 90 minutes.
Promise Land will open on April 20 with a glamorous red carpet premiere at AMC River East 21 in downtown Chicago. The event will be an evening chock-full of entertainment, with performances by local talent and an after-party at NV Penthouse Lounge, one of the hottest nightclubs in Chicago. It is hardly surprising that tickets are selling quickly for this exciting event.
