A worker from popular LGBT hangout T’s Bar & Restaurant in Uptown is recovering after he was stabbed in the early morning hours of May 30.

According to police, the 23-year-old victim was taking out the trash at 1:30 a.m. when one of two men at the scene stabbed him. The victim told police he did not know why he had been targeted.

He was treated at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and released. The attackers were described as two men between 21-25. One was described as white Latino while further information on the other was not available.

T’s management did not respond immediately to a request for comment. Windy City Times will update as details become available.
