Judy Shepard (pictured), mother of Matthew Shepard who was murdered in an anti-gay hate crime in 1998, addressed Allstate and Walgreens employees in Northbrook, Ill., June 20. She was invited by Allstate Insurance Company and Walgreens to speak at a community conversation on tolerance and diversity in honor of Pride Month. The event was presented by the Allstate Network of Gay and Lesbian Employees and Supporters (ANGLES).
