Actress Pam Grier will be at Reel Art Collectibles, 6727 W. Stanley St., Berwyn, on Thursday, Sept. 6, 5-7 p.m.
She will sign copies of autobiography, FOXY: A Life in Three Acts, as well as posters and photographs. (Grier will charge for her autograph and photos.)
Grier became famous in the early 1970s after starring in a string of women-in-prison and blaxploitation films such as 1974’s Foxy Brown. Later, she appeared in Quentin Tarantino’s film Jackie Brown (1997). She has also been in TV series such as The L Word, Law & Order: SVU and Smallville.
Grier is coming to Reel Art through a special arrangement with the Hollywood Show autograph and collectible show, where she will be appearing Sept. 7-9 at the Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel, 5500 N. River Rd., Rosemont.
