U.S. Representative Mike Quigley, D-Ill., reiterated support for the LGBT community and National Coming Out Day by participating in the NOH8 Campaign, which promotes equality through education, advocacy and visual protest.
In a statement, Quigley said, “I’ve always been a strong supporter of marriage equality for all, so I consider it an honor and a responsibility to draw attention to this cause through unique opportunities like the NOH8 Campaign.”
Quigley, along with 25 of his colleagues and more than 100 congressional staffers, participated in a NOH8 on the Hill photo shoot last month.
