In this book, McDonagh and Smith tell readers about the proper tools needed for hosting successful cocktail parties in addition to having recipes for vintage cocktails and small dishes. In keeping with that, the party featured cocktails such as the Dark Lady and the Elderflower Gimlet, and snacks such as chorizo-cheddar-stuffed olives and cracked black pepper Parmesan crisps.
