Theater company Commedia Beauregard has announced that Dr. Marc Okrand, creator of the Klingon language, will be attending the Saturday, Dec. 15, showing of A Klingon Christmas Carol at Raven Theatre at 4 p.m.
Okrand, a philologist, is recognized for his work with Native American languages as well as his work with the first closed-captioning system for hearing-impaired viewers. “Klingon” will run every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 30.
