Out R&B singer Frank Ocean won two Grammys at the 55th annual Grammy Awards that were aired on CBS Feb. 10.
Ocean won Best Urban Contemporary Album (for Channel Orange)—edging Chris Brown, with whom he reportedly got in a recent scuffle—and shared in the rap/sung collaboration award for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “No Church in the Wild.”
As for the so-called “big three” awards, Gotye (featuring Kimbra) son Record of the Year for “Somebody That I Used to Know”; Mumford & Sons won Album of the Year for Babel; and fun. won Song of the Year for “We Are Young” (which features Janelle Monae).
CBS’ event averaged 28.4 million viewers—its second-largest viewership since 1993, according to USA Today. Last year, 39.9 million watched in the wake of Whitney Houston’s death.
