The Chicago Red Stars have announced their 25-player roster heading into the second week of preseason with the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). The team has also officially signed Lydia Vandenbergh, a discovery player selection, and Rachel Quon, the Red Stars first pick in the second round of the inaugural NWSL College Draft.
The Red Stars’ home opener is April 14 at 5 p.m. against Seattle Reign FC at Village of Lisle-Benedictine Sports Complex.
The roster includes Shannon Boxx, Maribel Dominguez, Lauren Fowlkes, Jen Hoy, Jessica McDonald, Carmelina Moscato and Taylor Vancil, among others.
