Recently, airberlin hosted a press breakfast at the Hotel Burnham, where active CEO Wolfgang Prock-Schauer announced that five direct flights will leave daily from Chicago to Berlin beginning in summer 2013. Klaus Wowereit, the openly gay mayor of Berlin, also attended the event.
