While there were some celebrities charging for autographs and pictures, such as Burt Ward (of Batman and Robin fame) and Ron Perlman from Hellboy, the real stars were the fans themselves. Dressing up and posing for photographs has made the biggest nerd a hero for a day, and was a moment to turn the tables on bullying for being different.
For the fourth year this convention packed in the masses, who visited booths, met artists and attended panels.
