This year there was a historic Mexican and Jewish partnership to promote cultural exchange, along with a “Women In Film” portion to support the growing Latina community’s contributions.
There were more than 100 films to see this year at the CLFF, and the LGBT community was well-represented with Bolero at Night from Peru and Porcelain Horse from Ecuador, among others.
The festival ran April 11-25. Stay tuned to www.LatinoCulturalCenter.org for next year. Photos and text by Jerry Nunn
