The Isle of Klezbos will play at the Mayne Stage, Sunday, July 21, 7:30 p.m., 1328 W. Morse Ave., Chicago.
The group states: “Our fun-loving, soulful gal-powered klezmer ensemble has toured from Vienna to Vancouver, with broadcast credits from CBS Sunday Morning to The L Word.”
Klezbos bandmates feature alumnae from Juilliard, Eastman and Manhattan Schools of Music, and have also graced the stage with artists such as Natalie Merchant, Indigo Girls, Burning Spear, John Zorn, Bonnie Raitt, Rufus Wainwright, David Krakauer, Jimmy Scott, Frank London, and of course Metropolitan Klezmer, to name a few.
