NBA player Roy Hibbert used a gay slur in one answer and a curse to refer to the media in another during his news conference after Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals, putting himself in line for being disciplined by the NBA, according to ESPN.com.
Hibbert (who plays for the Indiana Pacers) ended a response to a question about his defense on the Miami Heat’s LeBron James with “no homo.” Hibbert later apologized for the slur, but was still fined $75,000.
