"Can't Hold Us: The 2nd Story Pride Party, June 26

2nd Story will host “Can’t Hold Us: The 2nd Story Pride Party” on Wed., June 26, at the Strawdog Theatre’s Hugen Hall. A varied line-up of storytellers (Deb Lewis, Dion Walton, and Ozzie Totten) will use multi-discipline talents to tell stories. The event will include door prizes and a dance party with DJ Swaguerilla.

2nd Story is finishing up its 11th year with some successes to celebrate: artistic director Amanda Delheimer Dimond was listed in Newcity’s “Lit 50 of 2013”; in 2012 2nd Story published its first anthology, “Briefly Knocked Unconscious by a Low-Flying Duck.” Lewis’s story in “Briefly Knocked Unconscious” has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

Doors at 7pm, stories at 7:30, dancing til midnight.
