Macy’s Inc. Chairman/President/CEO Terry Lundgren hosted the evening, introducing performances by Cirque du Soleil, Macy’s iHeartRadio contest winner The Summer Set and musician Sheryl Crow. Some of the fashion designers featured in segments throughout the evening were from Jean Paul Gaultier, Rachel Roy and Tommy Hilfiger.
The retail giant has raised more than $50 million to help fight childhood illness and HIV/AIDS with this event, throwing in some of the best fashion experiences in the city of Chicago.
Crow chatted with Windy City Times on the red carpet before the show about how living in Nashville has influenced her new album and jumped in the air when her gay fan base was mentioned.
