The group Affinity is hosting its annual Burning Bowl Saturday, Jan. 11, on the fourth floor of the Chicago Theological Seminary (CTS), 1407 E. 60th St.

The running time for the program and fellowship meal is 1:30-3:30 p.m. Doors open at 1 p.m. Nearly 300 people are expected to attend.

Burning Bowl is a longstanding Affinity tradition that involves, among other things, purging the previous year’s challenges and negativity.

Affinity is a not-for-profit group for and by Chicago’s black lesbian and bisexual women’s community.
