Chicago Foundation for Women presents One Size Does Not Fit All: The Impact of Gender on Philanthropy, a Tuesday, Jan. 21 discussion on how a thoughtful gender analysis—one that questions, challenges and changes rigid gender norms—can lead to improved program outcomes and smarter community investments. Riki Wilchins, executive director of TrueChild, accompanied by CFW grantees, Youth Outlook and Chicago Women’s Health Center, will share their knowledge of innovative engagement and problem solving in the community.

Riki Wilchins has been profiled in The New York Times and TIME Magazine selected her one of “100 Civic Innovators for the 21st Century.” The author of three books on gender theory, Riki has been published in anthologies like Feminist Frontiers, Language Awareness, and The Encyclopedia of Identity and publications like The Village Voice and Social Text. She is proud of her courageous and smart 5-year-old daughter, Dylan. Read about Riki in TIME.
