California-based author Marsha Aizumi will be sharing her story of parenting a child who came out as a lesbian, then later came out as a transgender man. She will be speaking Sunday, April 6, 1-2:30 p.m., at Christ Church of Chicago, 6047 N. Rockwell St. This event is free, all are welcome to attend.
Aizumi is the author of Two Spirits, One Heart, a memoir that recounts her journey from fear and uncertainty, to eventual love and acceptance as her child struggled to reconcile his gender identity.
