Billie Jean King will be the keynote speaker at the 29th Annual Luncheon on Sept. 18 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Dr., Chicago.

Billie Jean King is one of the most famous athletes and social icons in American history. She has long been a champion for social change and equality. King created new inroads for men and women in sports and beyond during her legendary tennis career and she continues to make her mark today.

Chicago Foundation for Women’s 29th Annual Luncheon will celebrate the achievements of women and girls by bringing together a diverse audience that includes business, philanthropy, government, nonprofit, media and community members. Proceeds help the Foundation achieve its mission to connect need, money and solutions for women and girls throughout metropolitan Chicago. Since 1985, we have given more than 3,000 grants totaling nearly $20 million and helped thousands of women and girls become philanthropists.

A networking reception will take place 11 a.m. – 12 pm: p.m. Luncheon and keynote address 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
