Claudia Mosier, Psy.D., former director of mental health at the Center on Halsted, received the Supervisor of the Year award from Feinberg School of Medicine Northwestern McGaw Medical, Center for graduate medical education May 28. The award was for her supervision of the interns in the LGBTQ internship program. This is the first APA approved LGBTQ psychology internship in the country. Dr. Mosier has been teaching LGBTQ competency since the 1970’s.
