A Salute to Dick Cavett The museum will celebrate Dick Cavett, the television talk-show legend that brought wit and wisdom to late night television. On June 21, Dean Richards, entertainment reporter and critic on WGN-TV and WGN Radio 720 AM, will serve as emcee for the evening’s festivities, and the Alan Gresik Swing Shift Orchestra will provide music throughout the night.

The salute marks the official kickoff of “Dick Cavett: A Retrospective,” a video exhibition that will run June 24 to Sept. 27 (Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.) in the MBC’s Polk Bros.
