Web site Gay Cities and Stoli Vodka teamed up to choose a local representative for their national Stoli Guy competition, Sat., Aug. 9, on the Hydrate stage during Northalsted Market Days. The contest sought individuals who embodied the slogan “Inspired. Authentic. Original.” from a field of six contestants. The winner, Jon (second from left in above photo), will be flown to New York to compete against representatives of other US cities for the national Stoli Guy title.

The event was hosted by national LGBT Stoli brand ambassador Patrik Gallineaux and The Princess, who represented Chicago on season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Judges included Marc Felion of the Feast of Fun podcast, Nightspots editor Kirk Williamson, and Traver Rains and Richie Rich of the fashion duo Heatherette. The competition even featured a Heatherette hat-and-underwear walk-off.
