On Aug. 22, the burlesque and performance collective Ties and Tassles threw a meet-and-greet as a preview for the annual “Queerpocalypse” event held the following evening. Hosted by Jenna Delgaty with co-producer Candice Bree, the show—which took place at Lizard’s Liquid Lounge, 3058 W. Irving Park Rd.—was a celebration of drag (kings as well as queens), high and low comedy, dance and burlesque.

Along with a raffle, the evening included performances by artists from Ohio (Eileen Galvin, Pandora Foxx), Chicago (The Mo’s, Flare and Maximum Capacity) and Los Angelos (Bella Bathory, Tito Bonito).
