House of Mirth

Dead Writers Theatre Collective gets all dressed up in fancy period dress for three benefit performances of House of Mirth, a theatrical adaptation of Edith Wharton’s classic novel by Dawn Keeler. So as you see the rise and fall of Lily Bart in New York society circa 1905, just think at how you’re also helping Dead Writers Theatre Collective raise funds for its future productions. House of Mirth plays three benefit shows at the Stage 773 Cabaret, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday through Saturday, Aug. 28-30. Tickets are $40 and include a complimentary glass of wine; visit www.deadwriters.net for tickets and more information. Photo by Charlie McGrath.
