Sidetrack’s 27th annual Night of 100 Drag Queens features creatures of all stripes with this year’s theme, Animal Queendom. Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, producer Justin Mikita, attended the event.
The two-night affair began Wed., Oct. 22 and a second show is scheduled for Thu., Oct. 23. Over 50 drag queens performed numbers ranging from Liza Minnelli’s “Bye Bye, Blackbird” to Kim Chi’s Korean version of the story of The Three Little Pigs. The show was hosted by Debbie Fox and Tequila Mockingbird, and was directed by Jeff Lynch. Proceeds from the show go to benefit Equality Illinois.
The grand show returns for its second performance Thursday, Oct. 23.
