On Nov. 30, the sixth edition of “Strut”—the annual fashion show designed to acknowledge World AIDS Day—took place at Castle Nightclub in front of an enthusiastic SRO crowd.

This year’s event was again produced by designer John Fleming, in partnership with Project VIDA and Dr. John Schneider of The Chicago Center for HIV Elimination.

The runway was filled with traditional as well as daring formal, sports and evening wear. Among the designs on display was work from Ye Kuang, Cassidy Holtz, Boss Formalwear of Evergreen Park, Kelvin Harris, Barbara Bates, Courtney Lucansky and Iridium Platinum.

At the finish, Fleming, flanked by an array of male models wearing Kuang’s edgy designs, thanked the event’s longtime sponsors and promised that Strut would definitely return.
