Transgender teen Nicole Maines makes her acting debut as a guest star in on the June 23 episode of USA Network’s Royal Pains at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT.
She will be on episode 704, “The Prince of Nucleotides.”
Maines will play Anna, a trans teenage choreographer whom Hank (played by Mark Feuerstein) treats. He soon discovers that some of the hormones she is taking for her transition may be endangering her health.
Maines is a 17-year-old senior high school student who made history in January 2014 by winning a landmark transgender rights case in the state of Maine.
