Jared Milrad (on the right in the above photo) and Nathan Johnson, a same-sex couple who appeared in Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign announcement, got married July 19 at Montrose Harbor in Chicago, according to a Politico item.
Clinton did not attend, even though she was invited. However, she did send a note that Milrad recently posted on Twitter. In part, the note read, “Congratulations on your wedding day! As you begin this exciting new chapter in your life together, I join your family and friends in wishing you the very best.”
In April, Johnson joked about the invitation: “We addressed it with a ‘plus-one,’ so she could include Bill, Chelsea or 50 Secret Service agents.”
