The amount of $10,000 went to Affinity Community Services to send a group of youth ambassadors to Youth Leadership Conference in Washington DC. They’ll be able to meet many influential people including some at the White House, and bring back tools to help their communities in the South Side of Chicago.
A total of $15,000 went to AIDS Legal Council of Chicago that will help them give free legal services to those of low socioeconomic status who are disenfranchised with AIDS/HIV.
And $15,000 went to Chicago House for the Transgender Life Center which is in the same location as their original property where those suffering from AIDS went to pass on peacefully. The Transgender Life Center is such a good way to use that property as a way to revive life now and give these people a chance to live the life they’ve always wanted.
Finally, $2,500 in proceeds of the Whole Foods Pride Tote bag, sold in stores, went to Chicago House.
