On Aug. 14, Iddy Id Design held “A.U.C.T.I.O.N.”—a group exhibition of new works featuring mixed media, visual and performing artists—at Space 1858, 1858 W. Grand Ave.

Several artists were featured, including Iddy Id Design, Ayodele Drum and Dance, Nish Hamilton, Alycia Davis, Jeremy Royster, Wanda Rosado-Johnson, Kia Givhan and Kim Ferguson, among others.

In a pre-event release, organizers stated, “The focus of A.U.C.T.I.O.N. is to create a space for Black culture to thrive and be appreciated and elevated. All art performed and displayed transcends over decades of injustice—and pride—in African-American life.”
