Susan Sontag movie event Nov. 18
“Regarding Susan Sontag: Film Screening and Discussion with Deborah Nelson” will take place Wed., Nov. 18, 6-9 p.m., at The University of Chicago’s Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality, 5733 S. University Ave.
The event will bring together UChicago alumnae/i interested in gender, feminist and LGBTQ studies to explore the life and work of the famous writer, filmmaker and political activist.

TPAN presenting ‘Barlesque 8’
The Chicago agency Test Positive Aware Network (TPAN) has announced the latest edition of its annual online fundraiser with “Barlesque 8: Bedtime Stories.”
Through Nov. 22, 16 bartender contestants will raise funds in person and online at Barlesque.org. As money is raised, photos of contestants advance from the contestants being fully dressed to wearing significantly less clothing.

HBHC partners with FFC
Fitness Formula Clubs (FFC) has initiated a new partnership with Howard Brown Health Center (HBHC) in an effort to promote sustainable health habits for HBHC’s employee and patient networks through the FFC FormuLifeRx program.
FormuLifeRx is a multidisciplinary behavior modification program offered through Fitness Formula Clubs; it is designed specifically for the medical community to support efforts in treating patients.
