PASSAGES Edward A. Hagger

Edward A. Hagger (Ed), 59, passed away peacefully at WFHC-All Saints Hospital in Racine, Wisconsin on February 25, 2016. Ed was born in Douglas, Michigan on May 10, 1956. The son of Donald and Beverly Hagger, Ed graduated from Fennville High School (Fennville, MI) in 1974. He moved to Chicago, IL in 1976, where he lived for several years and eventually relocated to Racine, WI about 10 years ago.

Ed was a longtime and faithful member of St. Ed’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was employed with AT&T as an Operations Manager, retiring after more than 30 years of service.

Ed found great enjoyment in golf, fishing, vacationing in the Florida Keys as well as around the world and had great pride in caring for his garden. He was he known for his humor, extreme generosity to many friends, family and strangers. He found his greatest enjoyment in the time he spent with his family and loved ones.

Ed is survived by his mother, Beverly Hagger; sisters, Elaine (Mike) Squire, Karen (Mike) Monique, Donna (Gary) Thoman, Lisa (Brian) Barnhill; brothers, John (Sherri) Hagger, his twin brother, Steve (Karen) Hagger, Jim (Diana) Hagger, Danny Hagger, former sister-in-law, Linda Hagger and his aunt, Geraldine Burke, all of Michigan. He is further survived by very dear friends, Elizabeth and Dennis Homolka, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, other relatives and many dear friends in Racine and Michigan. Ed was preceded in death by his father Donald and uncle, Donald Burke.

Ed’s memorial service will be held this spring in his home state of Michigan with his family, friends and loved ones.
