A screening and discussion of the trans-centered new-media series Her Story will take place Thursday, April 7, at the James J. Stukel Towers, 718 W. Rochford St. (next to the UIC Forum).
The screening will be 4:30-5:30 p.m., with a panel/discussion at 5:30-7 p.m. Her Story takes a look at how trans women navigate the intersections of love and identity.
The discussion will be with the series’ Jen Richards, Angelica Ross and Fawzia Mirza.
The event is free and the location is wheelchair-accessible. Captioning, ASL interpretation and audio-descriptive services are available by calling 312-413-8619.
