Two men have been arrested on murder charges in the deaths of two women and two children in their upstate Troy, New York, apartment, according to Time magazine.
Justin Mann and James White—both from Schenectady, New York—pled not guilty to murder charges Dec. 30 in Troy.
A property manager found 36-year-old Shanta Myers and 22-year-old Brandi Mells (who were in a relationship), along with Myers’ children, 11-year-old Jeremiah and 5-year-old Shanise, on Dec. 26.
According to AVP.org, Isaiah Myers, 15, Shanta’s oldest son, was out of town at the time and is the only surviving member of the family.
