“Chicago’s restaurants are in large part the cornerstone of our community—going above and beyond in giving back to their local neighborhoods each and every day,” observed Trotter Project Executive Director and Co-Founder Derrek Hull when commenting on being a part of the Planning Committee for Dining Out For Life.
“On behalf of the Dining Out For Life Chicago planning committee, I’m thrilled Test Positive Aware Network has been selected to present this national campaign,” he said.
Dining Out For Life Chicago takes place Thursday, April 26 and will have up to 75 local restaurants who will donate all or a portion of their proceeds to TPAN, a leading AIDS Service Organization in Chicago.
Dining Out For Life Chicago invites the public to simply ‘dine out Chicago!’ at a participating restaurant for TPAN’s community services to be supported. Joining Hull on the committee are community leaders Greg O’Neill Co-Owner/Founder of Pastoral Artisan Cheese, Bread & Wine, David Sikora Crystal Head Vodka East Ambassador, Joe Owen of Manager of Operations CVS, David Cerda Founder and Artistic Director of Hell in a Handbasket Theatre, Basil Diab President/Owner ChicagoTaxPros, Randy Mitchell of RJ Mitchell LLC, David Hackett Fundraiser/event promotions; Bryan Gailey Design Strategist, and Nereida Ramphal Loyola student representative.
