Howard Wax

Chicago Police Department and River Forest Police Department are asking for information as to the whereabouts of a Western Suburban resident who disappeared last weekend, Chicago Tribune reported.

Howard Wax, 51, was last seen at his River Forest home the morning of May 12. His car was found unoccupied several hours later on the Chicago Skyway bridge.

No foul play is suspected in the case, but Wax’s disappearance was classified as “missing person-endangered” by authorities.

Wax, an attorney, was at one point president of the mainly-LGBT synagogue Congregation Or Chadash. He stands 5’11 tall, has black curly hair, a black beard and V-shaped scar on his right cheek.

Anyone with information on Wax’s whereabouts should phone River Forest Detective Sgt. James Greenwood at 708-366-7125, ext. 349.
