Michelle Obama and Live Nation have announced a selection of the local and community organizations that will receive free admission to the former first lady’s upcoming book tour, Becoming: An Intimate Conversation With Michelle Obama.
Obama’s tour kicks off Tuesday, Nov. 13, in Chicago’s United Center.
Among the groups receiving free admission are local organizations Chicago CRED (Creating Real Economic Destiny), formed to reduce Chicago gun violence; and Bottom Line, which addresses the low college graduation rates of low-income and first-generation students.
The tour feature intimate and honest conversations between Obama and a selection of to-be-announced moderators, reflective of the stories shared in her book.
