University Park’s Governors State University Foundation has announced announced the creation of a new scholarship for Governors State University students.
The Jackie McKethen Scholarship aims to to support students who are part of the LGBTQIA community or have shown substantial support for the community. Among the criteria are a 500-word essay and standing a GSU student with a minimum of six credit hours. The deadline is Friday, Jan. 11, 2019.
