Genre-pushing local artists ONO and Glad Rags will join forces at Constellation, 3111 N. Western Ave., on Saturday, June 29, at 8 p.m. for an eclectic evening of music and performance.

ONO is known for its unique blend of performance art and poetry fused with avant-garde noise and industrial sounds, pushing the boundaries of what is considered music.

The band will be accompanied by Glad Rags, a local eight-piece ensemble celebrating the one-year anniversary of its album Wonder Under. Combining elements of art rock, soul, psychedelic pop, disco, funk, New Wave and experimental jazz, Glad Rags have recently joined the outdoor-festival circuit and have begun touring this summer and plan for more in the fall. The band will also be perfomring at the Logan Square Arts Festival the following day.

Tickets are $12 each; visit http://www.constellation-chicago.com/event/1851314-ono-glad-rags-chicago/.
