The award-winning, trans-bodybuilding documentary Man Made releases worldwide on VOD platforms on Thursday, Nov. 7, via Journeyman Pictures.
The movie follows the lives of four transgender men as they prepare to compete at TransFitCon—the only all trans-bodybuilding competition in the world—in Atlanta. Man Made aims to take the viewer into the heart of transgender male (FTM) culture, revealing unexpected truths about gender, masculinity, humanity and love.
Transgender filmmaker T Cooper—a novelist, television writer, journalist and LGBT activist—directed Man Made. Actress Tea Leoni (Madam Secretary) executive-produced the film.
Festival awards include the Best Documentary Jury Award, Atlanta Film Festival; the Best Documentary Audience Award, Outfest Los Angeles and NewFest NYC; and the Best Documentary Jury Award at the Melbourne Queer Film Festival.
