On Oct. 24, DIFFA/Chicago hosted its third annual art auction, Art for Life Chicago, where guests celebrated the power and beauty of art as well as raised vital funds to benefit those living with and vulnerable to HIV/AIDS.

The event, held at Venue West, raised $110,000 in support of HIV/AIDS education and local service organizations. Three hundred guests joined the nonprofit in celebrating emerging and established artists. More than 80 pieces of art, from paintings to mixed media works, were donated by artists and collectors and exhibited as part of the silent and live auctions taking place throughout the evening.

Founded in 1984, DIFFA has granted more than $45 million to hundreds of community-based organizations nationwide.
