According to http://ESPN.com, Chicago Sky player Stefanie Dolson said during the media outlet’s WNBA draft broadcast on April 17 that her “whole family” tested positive for the coronavirus last month.

In part, the 6’5″ center said, “My mom, she ended up being admitted into the hospital for about four days. She had severe symptoms, pneumonia. But because of the team of healthcare workers that was there, she’s home safe now and healthy.”

Dolson, 28, has been with the Sky since 2017. She played a partial season with the Hebei Win Power of the Women’s Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) in 2019-20 before returning to the United States; her last game with Hebei was Jan. 2.
