On April 16, comedian Cameron Esposito joined the Chicago Humanities Festival for its first virtual event of the spring 2020 season.
During the live-streaming conversation—moderated by Kristen Kaza, co-founder of Slo ‘Mo: Slow Jams for Queer Fam—Esposito recounted frank stories from her memoir, Save Yourself; talked about how she lost her faith, friends and family when she came out; and explored how the pandemic is affecting the creativity and careers of her fellow comics, writers, and artists.
